de jong is a top act he was superb on saturday along with tevez their work rate should be an example to the rest.especially adebayor and bridge who still doesnt inspire me brilliant result though lets hope we can get back to winning games we have proved we are good enough to compete with the top sides now we have got to beat the others as well.de jong could be the player to drive us forward and let us push on and strive for that champions league slot its still up for grabs so lets grab it!!!!

I still remember those who completely wrote him off after 5 games.

I never write any of our players off, but hold my hands up for not rating Dejong. Just watched a replay of the game and such an outstanding performance against a top quality side from Dejong "just amazing".
Micah had a good game, which allowed Dejong to get forward more and something clicked with the team, full credit to Hughes regardless of the result it was "stunning"
