we all know winterburn he likes to duck and dive, ask di caneo, he shit it when he he made a move towards him at sheff weds, one of the funniest things i have ever seen in football?

Me too, was hilarious watching him giving it the `big hard man ` act until Di Canio turned on him, his face momentarily was a picture.

Some people just don`t like competition.
 
mancunial is right, sometimes these short term moves work out, McCalistair being one of the best examples.

I can remember Colin Viljeon being the same for City, notably when we demolished AC Milan in 1979.

Steve McMahon AND Peter Reid both did great jobs aswell.

Its what such acquisitions bring to the training ground, aswell as their presence in the Club itsself and the influence they can have on development of the team and the 'winning' culture.

Much better than selling your soul to Sky and TalkSport because the game itself has no place for you i.e. Nicholas; Merson; Winterburn funny this all ex Arsenal obviosly learn fuck all woth sharing if you've ever played for them...... Typical Sky pull out the negative pundits, Winterburn said ' I don't think he'll get back to how he used to be'.... No shit Sherlock we have bought him as a squad player not because he is a young up and coming talent ffs!!

He will be used in a rotation system and will keep our other midfielders on their toes and give them some of the knowledge he has gained over the years, great signing.

Right on the money, Ribbo. PaddyLad doesn't have to set foot on the pitch for him to have a major positive influence on the club and its fortunes. He will be a major presence, and you can imagine the face on a team's midfield when he makes an appearance after an hour!
 
It's the media giving the likes of that twat an airing that gets to me, I have just ranted about this elsewhere. At the very least they might have mentioned that Wenger doesn't exactly agree with the twats Winterburn and Parlour, by which I mean if they are going to give the twat's point of view, they need to allowing others to give the opposite.

Remember when them twats signed Larsson who was well past it, and IMO didnt even do well when he got here? That was classed as a 'Fergie masterstroke'. Yet when we sign an experienced World Cup winner, who is a lot younger every idiot gets rolled out having a pop. Cant wait til we can shut them all up.
