Nike to make Kits

Nike tend to stick to pretty plain strips, not a lot of embellishing with quirky finishing a la this seasons neck insert chequered thing or last seasons odd neckline at the front...look at their international tops for the likes of Holland, plain and traditional. We could get some very traditional looking City tops, plain sky blue with basic white trim and they tend to stick with the round collars, that's my hope anyway and I'm sure the club has the final say on which design offerings they like best.

what happens I believe is that the company sends a number of mockup shirts and the club picks the ones it likes best. I seem to recall watching a show on Reading a few years back and they showed the process.

Nike's league kits have been pretty much universally poor in terms of fabric quality and design, it's not just the united connection (though theirs have been exceptionally wank), I really can't think of one that's any good- say in the same class as the sash away kit or last years home...

it maybe but umbro make the better kits theres no doubt about it, just look at our kit and previous seasons kits compared to united

which in essence are Nike kits without the tick

Not really. They're designed in the Northern Quarter and made in Cheadle. Okay, head offices might have a swoosh over the door but Umbro is our local sportwear make!

Lol, yeah, hence the 6-Year deal with Nike as the Umbro deal will be 4 years old by then.
