No action against Lukaku

Have the FArce released a statement yet explaining their decision?
Yes.

From the THREE independent referees selected, there was not unanimity that it was a red card offence. Wonder who they were? Taylor??? Oh no, he’s a red, but it’s Alty he supports!!

I know that, but i would like the specific reason why one,or more, belived it to be something other than a red card?

It was an act of violent conduct so why has it been deemed to be something different?

The issue with this decision is that the FA have once again shown their true colours with supporting United. It will be no surprise if we have someone sent off before their match or that they will get soft decisions when we play them.

Yep. I'm fully expecting a red card in one of our next 2 games....

Amazing how he's got away with this. Have the feeling of it was Aguero that this would be played on loop on all sports programmes! I remember Vieira playing for us, maybe stoke away or somewhere like that, was on his arse and kicked out at someone. It was soft, not violent, more petulant. Missed by ref but given a three game ban... just no consistency, that's all I'd like to see!
Whaddya mean consistency?!
Is it not clear by now that the rags are consistently treated differently? !

Wonder how 'petulant' it would've seemed if that left foot landed squarely in Bongs crown jewels doubling him over? A swing out like that is just violent play.
The Huddersfield sensing off, now that was petulant
Bong slipped up by not going to ground as if he'd been shot and rolling round in agony while holding his face!

Hope someone's mentioned how Aguero got a ban last year for far less, when the blind man didn't include the Winston Reid 'elbow' in his report.

Just heard via Ray Parlour that this judgment.panel was made up of three ex-managers. He said Lukaku "got away with one".
So, at best this shows inconsistency in the decision making process, used with current legislation. At worst it shows incompetence and bias.

I have seen the influence Alex Ferguson has on every facet of the English game. When his Darren son got fired as manager of Preston North End, I watched with bemusement as Ferguson immediately recalled his loan players from Deepdale. I then watched in horror as another club in the premier league, managed by Ferguson’s father’s friend Tony Pulis, also recalled their loan players from PNE.

Yes his influence has lessened since he has gone but it was so obvious at the time. At minimum he used fear to pressure referees and the FA, I think there's more to it than that though

Fascinating indeed. It tells us what we've known for years, somert is going on , we know it, they know it, everyone knows it but are totally powerless to stop it. As I alluded to in a previous thread and it's mentioned in one the articles, utd are the biggest cash cow for the premier league so they've got to be looked after. As simple as that.

Not difficult to see why when you have the chief exec of the premier league coming out with comments like this

Spot on my friend. And no-one blinked an eyelid.
