Necastle 1-1 Yeah, f*ckin Newcastle
Hull City, lost 4-3 after going ahead

Plus plenty of 1-0 wins against bottom half clubs.
Name the plenty, Hull lost no matter what you say and newcastle was the first game of the season, so name the plenty please......

Whats your point???

Here is mine; we should be giving them f*cking hell today. We went there and did absolutely f*ck all except lie down and let them roll over us. We were shite from front to back, and il bet there wasnt a spot of sweat on anyones shirt from either side today. It stank of a 'couldnt care less' attitude from the inept manager down through a lot of the lazy overpaid players. If we cant get up for the 'Derby' then unless things change dramatically, we will be in exactly the same position next season.

Which i might add, some will once again see as 'progress'!

And we are suppossed to be fighting for 7th place!!!

C'mon smithy , let it drop ...... if you think the rags were at their best today , you're a million miles from the truth ...... we just didn't have the clout , or the know-how' to get at them ..... and i doubt if any City player would disagree with me.

Cheltblue is right ..... we were fighting for a possible european place , but it sure as hell didn't look like we were!

I haven't seen a single post saying we should have expected to win. All I have seen is posters questioning why we didn't even look as though we wanted to win.

Stuck this in the matchday thread & quite a few appear to agree so posted it here also...

Something is very wrong. I just didn't get any buzz out of a derby game today. I don't think that's ever happened before.
i felt this against blackburn, i think i knew deep down we would win so there was nothing to worry about

If you have no point except to see the list of teams who have won, drawn, or lost at OT this season then i would refer you to the MU website, its there in all its glory. Hull gave em a lot more than we did today as did Newcastle. They have lost to 2 or 3 European teams there this season (cant remember who, but again the MU website will fulfil your wish), won, lost and drawn to PL clubs with some lower table teams coming away with far more creditable 1-0 loses than the crap we produced today.

And im very happy for you if you find today acceptable in the context of other teams results this season but i dont. I expect more of my team in a derby.

Enjoy the website!

Exactly the point that most posters have made but Smithy is missing!
