Why won't she?
She complained, so they emailed her back and said there won't be a refund.

Good on the club. She has no right of a refund, the club did nothing wrong.

Fucking hate some City fans at times.

You don't get a refund when you buy a chicken from Tesco's at 6pm and someone gets a 50% reduction at 7:30pm. It is exactly the same and it happens with clothes, cars, sofa's, kitchens, holidays and every other purchasable good or service.

She was happy with the price she paid. She paid it. It is of no concern to her what someone else paid the following hour, day, week or month.

The club tries to do something good and allow those that couldn't afford it to go and we get moaning cyrtain twitchers complain. Followed by their son's on a messageboard. Get over it.

how have you been robbed? you have a ticket and the event is taking place, if YOU chose not to use it then so be it. Its no one elses responsibility.
Because we paid full price, and then they reduced it.

They should refund us all but they haven't.

No they SHOULDN'T.

He's obviously miffed at having paid £30 for the ticket at some point, and has seen others buying last minute ones for £5.
We all buy tickets at different times under different deals, some you win, some you lose, but what isn't being appreciated, is if you want your own seat or a specific location, you may pay a premium for that privilidge, and if you want a bargain, maybe chance waaiting till the death and being given a ticket in a crap spot, bit like last minute holiday deals, it's a chance you take.
But don't choose to buy early and then woman if someone else gets a better deal, that's just their good fortune.

why oh why are so many fans believing that it's ok to do this with football tickets? It's NEVER been the case that a club sells a ticket for one price and then weeks later drops it so that the bloke sitting next to you is the same age but has paid £20 less - just because he waited.

City have become like an ebay concert tout! Sell them high, then when it gets close to gig time and you haven't sold many you panic and reduce them. Yes in those cases as a buyer you feel ripped off but you just accept it, but with a football club, who for donkeys years have sold at set prices, it just gets to you.

Those fans who compare it to a supermarket (or flights) are the kind of gullible happy clappers that the club will lap up!!!! If you can't see it from the other side, then you're very selfish and an i'm alright jack.

(And as i said in the other thread, i'm on the cup scheme and got the 3 for 2, so the match is free for me, so it's not like i'm complaining cos of myself. I'm complaining because i believe it to be wrong - some of us have principles!!!)

(yes, you're all about to slag me off. You know what, i don't care!)

i think its abit different if you havent actually recieived the product you have purchased yet. its not fair, but they wont sting me again.

wait till the day before the game next time bob. thats what im going to do
