Just reading the 'he doesn't really want to play for us' comments on here - while I agree he loves AC Milan, and always will, that doesn't mean he can't play his heart out for us.
Ronaldo really wants to play for Real Madrid, but he doesn't and I don't hear many rags bitching over him now!
Totally agree. Kaka would give he's heart to you're club as he's a top professinal. cesare maldini said in an intreview 2 days ago that Kaka didn't know about the whole deal and he just knew friday morning when the press released the story. So to him this whole thing is just a big suprise and he was shocked with the way the milan officials have treated him in the last few days. But even with that he was professinal enough to go out there and play the fiorentina game ( top class act IMO ).

Once he moves to this club he'll be focusing on this club only and people will love here, Mark my words.

I have to agree that if the rumours are true and he doesn't want to come to city, then why force him to be here. He said one day he would like to play in the premiership, that day might not be now. It is alright if you are single and can just up sticks and move but he will also have to uproot his wife and kid and move to England which if they don't want to do that, then what is he suppose to do? I don't know the age of his kid, perhaps maybe he is settled in school learning Italian and Kaka might not want to just pull him out of school, who knows?

If the rumours are true about Robinho talking up Kaka to come, then surely the arabs will have a better idea what has been said and if, and i say if, Robinho has been given positive feedback from Kaka, then why come out and say that he wants to stay at Milan??

I sure we all would agree none of us would like to be forced to move country to accommodate a job which we have been forced into, know matter how much your going to get paid.

I guess time will tell, but if he doesn't want to be here, then now is the time to come out and say it. It is one thing moving across the country to another town, it is another moving to a different country and starting over.

If what Ajay says is correct about meetings taking place between him and the Sheik and his advisors then its hardly the actions of a man desperate to stay at Milan.Milan are playing this very nicely giving the impression that he wants to stay but on the other hand stating they ned the money.Signing Ronaldinho looks like its backfiring on Milan as Kaka has said many times his talents are being sacrificed to accomodate Goofy.

exactly. didn't he say around november time he wants to play in the premiership?

It isnt so much that he doesnt want to play for us, as he doesnt want to leave Milan. I can understand that if he has a love for a club, but as soon as that option is taken away from him and AC want the money then he is a proffessional that will have a winning mentality and hence he will give his all wherever he plays. Who's to say that if it is the management forcing him out for the cash that he may not have a very different opinion within a very short time ? as in "I love the Fans and Milan itself, but that club pushed me out of the door for there 30 pieces of silver and I cannot return to that ?
At the end of the day if he doesnt want to play for us then he just says no to the personal terms and its job over ? and even if the biggest driver for him to come to us is the money, well then he strikes me as the sort of man that knows that money has to be earnt !

I agree with you Nixon, and while i have to say that on the face of it there is no reason why he would want to come to City, if you take Nixons post and add to it that he could well be interested in the prospect of the City project to become the leading team not just in UK or Europe but the the World, then that could all add up to why he hasnt said No and is giving us every opportunity to sell our vison to him.

But i cannot agree with the OP, i would imagine he had a few beers last night and emotions got the better of him, poor lad!

Players like Kaka (who is one the top 3 players in the world) are going to need convincing that moving to City is the thing to do. Whether we like it or not we don't have the prestige of the Milans, Real Madrids, Barcas, Scums, Liverpools of this world which is why we have to rely on the money.
