No Yaya in the team...

He was ok first half - certainly better than several others.

Dreadful second half - but it was obvious he was going to be as soon as you saw that he was playing in that more advanced position.

Yep, notice how much we start hoofing it without Yaya deep to take the ball from the defence and he's useless in that advanced position now, he hasn't got the legs to get away from players in the final third anymore.

To be fair to him he forced the move that led to the winner.

I imagine yaya will play again at Leicester with Navas probably out. He will probably play the advanced role with silva and Sterling either side. Might work as Leicester concede a lot of possession.

I dont think we will see any improvement either he knows his times up here with Peps arrival and he's not the type to bust a gut to prove himself to a prospective New club so I expect a lot more of the same from Yaya which is a shame cos he's going to go out with a whimper rather than a hero

Stick him on the bench and bring him on if we're chasing a game. Shouldn't be starting.

He could do a better job further forward if we had another CM who is a good passer.
He's the only one we have tho and he can't be trusted back there a lot of the time.

I respect and appreciate all the things Yaya has done for the club but I am fuckin sick of his lack of effort when on the pitch. When he passes, he does it so nonchalantly, when he defends, he hardly puts in an effort, and his top speed is the same as the fucking jog they do before training! He's been so frustrating this season. Like I said, I'm thankful for what he's done for the club but he needs to go this summer, and I think it's a year too late.

Second half was as bad as I've ever seen him. Couldn't even control or pass the ball and physically he's terrible. He must be the pound for pound weakest player in the division these days

Decent first half and had a big hand in the goal with the change of pace but legs went again soon into the second and should have been hooked earlier. Let's just hope to fuck Pellegrini doesn't leave him on too long against Leicester on saturday, but we've seen him do it numerous times now and you'd bet a lot of money that it will happen again. That said Pellegrini took him off earlier than usual tonight (only about 20 minutes too late this time) so I live in hope that he might be learning from this particular mistake (albeit as usual very slowly)
