Been listening to it since it came out now,like it alot,be good to hear him play it live next may
 
Great interview and live performances from Noel on C4 songwriters documentary other night.
 
I actually was expecting it to be poor based on comments here - but finally had a listen - think it's a good album.
 
I think one or two people are trying to convince themselves it's a great album. I personally think it's crap. Fuck knows what he's trying to achieve. Liams is far better. "You need to get away from the Oasis sound" you might say. Aint that why we loved the pair of scallies in the first place?

Plenty of Oasis material out there to listen to if that's the sound you're after. A mark of a good musician is the ability to consistently evolve their sound into something new and refreshing. We have enough landfill indie out there as it is.

For the record I don't love or hate Noel's new album, but I admire him for finally stepping out of Oasis land to try something different. Same can't be said for 'As You Were'.
 
If he wants to know who built the moon, he should have a listen to the bold as brass David Ike.
