He's one of those players that is hugely underrated - he rarely lets anyone down, works hard and scores important goals. should get more playing time especially ahead of Jesus "hit the first marker" Navas.

They play on opposite sides
In Pep's system players play in many different positions which is why we see Sagna popping up in central midfield! Seriously though I've always liked Navas for his defensive pace but we cannot get to the level of Real and Barca with a player that scores once every 30+ games. The point I was trying to make is he has not played as much as I would like and our results tend to support that.

I like him a lot but his temper will let him down

Thought he played well yesterday as always, brings us another pacey option on that left side. Can't fault his work rate or his passing.

The only thing I can pick fault with, is that he looses his head quite a lot which will and already has got him into some trouble.

It's a fine line between a player with passion and one with general apathy. I think we must be careful not to listen to the muppets who commentate on BT and Sky, who try and blow stuff out of proportion especially when talking about our players for some reason. I'm sure they will work on channeling Nolito's fury! On a separate note - listening today when Watford had a penalty claim and Hinchcliffe said it was irrelevant as they were offside, compare that to the dick Francis on BT yesterday who said Burnley should have had one completely ignoring the fact that they were offside. BT have lost any credibility with their choice of pundits, I'm sure they will have first dibs on Barton to lend us his pearls of wisdom.

He gets into cracking goalscoring positions. They are times you don't even see him do it, he just appears in the box. I like him. Needs to sort his temper or though, thoroughly deserved his card yesterday the eedjit.
