Non alcoholic drinks.

There was a discussion on LBC radio during the night. One guy summed up non alcoholic drinks perfectly. They tend to only be liked by those who are not bothered about drinking alcohol in the first place
People who aren't bothered about drinking don't like the taste of alcoholic drinks in the first place, because they've not conditioned themselves to like something that is objectively shit tasting. Let's be honest, no-one would drink spirits if they didn't get you drunk. Even beer would be a push. I'd say the only people who are interested in non-alcoholic beer/wine/etc are people who would rather have a real one but know they shouldn't.

You can tell which drinks most people don't really like, because they're the ones that have a million ways to disguise the flavour (*cough* coffee *cough*). The whole cocktail industry exists to make spirits palatable.

That was really my point. Interest and like are two different words. The vast majority of those who like alcohol, even though it is supposed to be tasteless, drink non alcoholic beer out of need, and not for desire.
