Re: Rooney to Arsenal?

He's 28 this October which means he's probably got 2- 3 seasons left at the top level. I think if he was prepared to drop his wages and the price was right he would be a decent buy. If no one makes an offer for him he's made a twat of himself and he will find himself slipping back in the pecking order at United.

Same age as Fernandinho... how long have got him??

Fernandinho isn't an overweight smoker who spends his summer indulging in the all you can eat buffet at his local Chinese.

Can't see a thread on this.

Arsene Wenger has declared interest in signing him. Can anyone see his actually going through?

not a chance mate. that's just whinger playing his game, trying to keep up the image Arsenal are in for the big name players when in reality they will only sign someone from Belarus.

Steven Taylor to Arsenal?

... Didn't see this one coming but Arsenal are in for Steven Taylor, 8mil apparently.

Re: Rooney to Arsenal?

It was said some time ago that once the stadium had been paid for, Arsenal would be in the market for top players. Whether culturally, Wenger and the board are prepared to change their business model and sacrifice what would now be huge profits, is another question.
