the pro stuff is getting boring

I'm relatively new to cycling started in December and last week did 165 miles. last night 23 miles at 19.3mph average, although i did sit on someones wheel and was fooked when i got home.

really enjoying and certainly helps lose weight

but how did i stop my cock and balls going numb is really doing my head in

Only if shes got a cock ;)

might of known you'd turn up once dogging is mentioned

Did the Dunwich Dynamo last Saturday night, really good ride and hundreds of riders. Look amazing on parts of the route where you can just see flashing red cycle lights as far as the eye can see. 120ish miles starting at 9pm in central London, arriving at the beach in Dunwich following morning. Pub opens at 4:30 IIRC (though I certainly wasn't there fast enough to witness it).

Are you wearing a good qaulity pair of shorts with a chamois ?
If not this is your first port of call IMO

Then if your still having problems it will probably be down to you not fitting the bike properly.
Could be someting really slight that you dont even realise . Seat angle / height , reach to bars etc .
The slightest adjustment can make all the difference on longer rides .
Its worth going to your Local bike shop (with road/race experience) and getting them to set you up properly . Can make all the difference .

Fair play to ya. I'm doing the three peaks CX at the end of september. Not competing per se', just doing.

You need to apply some chamois cream before you head out. You can get this in any good cycle shop. It's also worth getting some repair gel in case you break the skin because of friction burns. If you are new to cycling you just need to bed in your saddle. The more miles you do the less painful it will be. Decent chamois cream will set you back around a tenner - money well spent!

Numbness is due to seat position.

this woman is very boring but she correctly describes the causes of various aches and pains!
