Depends on if the leadership thought they would lose. Nukes would be set off. At the end of the day if the leadership think they will be caught and killed, they have little to worry about.

If Saddam actually had WMD, you can be sure he would have used them as the yanks rolled into Baghdad.

If they have Nukes North Korea will use them, it's just a matter of knowing they would not win and face certain destruction.

North Korea can't react first otherwise everybody will be completely against them, they can only make empty threats about war.

South Korea can't attack otherwise it gives the North an excuse, however, it can't also be seen to be weak when the North demand military exercises to be stopped. The North wish these to go ahead so that the South is seen as militarily agressive and should one stray bullet hit they can say 'they started it'.

China and Russia have been making productive nuclear/economic deals recently with the West which is no coincidence.

But for the most part it is just journalistic boredom.
 
Seems a little too convenient to me that this whole situation happens to spark off as North Korea is in a transitional period. When the reigns are being passed on in a dictatorship that is when dirty secrets etc. are more most likely to get out.
 
When did the dons get nuclear missiles? I thought they had wasted there parachute payments but fuck me if they have nuclear weapons I wouldn't fancy going to the mk arena to play them that would sort of put you off playing football
 
I doubt they have effecting nukes. They'r range would probably just cover the south. I say, get this done and over. If they were a serious threat ( more like having a lot of oil) they'd already be invaded and neutralized. Put a lot of pressure on China to stop it's relation ship with NK and they'd slowly die.
