Yes you get radiation poisoning, it's all about distance and time exposed, think about it like being near something hot, to close or for to long you burn. I work 10 foot away from worse stuff all the time.

I find that quite scary

I don't, I could do with growing an extra penis or my current one mutating a bit in size.
I could pm you some radioactive waste if it would help. Keep it quite though MI 5 are looking into it and the NK is a lucrative market just now

Smoke and mirrors/ trick of the hand.

When I read a similar paper from a UN official, I'll think again.

In fact, you have to ask why, when N Korea chased two spy planes, they didn't shoot them down? They would have been well within their own law to do so and the U.S. would have disavowed any knowledge of such activity anyway.

What gives and what were they so afraid of if they have the 'will' to fight the Yanks, by shooting the planes down??

Also, come to that, it would have been easy to offer themselves to Iraq as a political ally, if they weren't all huff and puff. So why didn't they??

All your other points are debatable but why on earth would they do this?

No other reason than the US being a common enemy and give the US something else to consider, rather than just walk in to a country and just attack it.

A genuine threat would have seen then not take that option.

Why would North Korea ( or any other country for that matter ) get involved in defending/ allying with another country, unless their own country was under threat in any manner ( which North Korea was not, at the time )

Ask Russia, in the Cold War, when it came to Cuba and it had nothing to do with communism.
