North Stand Construction Discussion

In fairness, that is probably a lot more common than you've been fortunate to have experienced.

I've been taking construction pictures for years, decades, even. I can count on one hand the times I have been challenged and confronted by an overzealous and aggressive security guard.

Sometimes the security guards will open the site gate for me so I can take better pictures. On the odd occasion I've been allowed onsite. I got a site tour of the Civil Justice Centre when it was under construction. :-)

On the whole security guards are ok as long as you don't go onsite, explain why you are taking pictures, and don't abuse them.

Sunday is the best day for taking construction update pictures. Most construction sites are quiet.

Thanks for your interesting and technical updates, Coatigan. Makes things a lot clearer.

Yea I know, I've been seeing them for years! ;).

All I was saying, you have probably been fortunate to not experience that type of behaviour that often.

When you have a drone the visits from security guards becomes a regular thing but over the last 2 years i have only had one who was a bit aggressive and that was at Anfield last week. After i explained things he went away, phoned the Police and then came back and said I was right in what i was saying and could he have a look at what i could see!!

This may have already been.posted and discussed? If not.

The (first) load transfer of the roof support cables on the right hand stanchion has been completed. The right hand stanchion no longer supports that side of the NS roof.

Tried to get as close to the top as I could, but my mobile can only zoom in so far.
