North Stand Construction Discussion

Late 2026 is being mentioned often as the date when all constructions will be finished. What is being built currently, the hotel? I heard we're aiming for 61-63k seats. Did the North Stand expansion create that or do we need to wait for late 2026 for that to happen as well?

Edit: Should've known, yes the North Stand will expand it for around 8k seats but it's not open yet. Late 2026 is when the hotel and North Stand opening will happen.

Some more from under the North Stand today 1st (old 2nd) Tier - old seating area is now the new bogs, old bogs gone and bars pushed back into a temprary set up - looks like they're not just outside the old footprint of the stadium just in front of what will be City Hall

This is going to be a problem - gets very narrow as you move from 137 to 136'ish - basically the bogs stick out behind the seating slope and they haven't removed some existing brickwork at the back of the stand


And these doors, I reckon, will eventaully block off access from current non-corporate 101,142,141 and 140 - time will tell
