Don’t really understand this , might be me being stupid , but as the metro station is virtually right outside the stadium why is it necessary. ?? And as for the stewards managing the crowd ???Looking through the COOP live design access statement, why does the club not use these all around the stadium

Did Bob write that from his sofa ? We only have 3 screens inside the stadium and managing 'massive crowds' is not a win Bob, we need more trams on that line on both directions pre and post match. Oh and another thing Bob, head down to the Platform and watch the display screens as they aren't even working. A proper shitshowLooking through the COOP live design access statement, why does the club not use these all around the stadium

Why, there is plenty of notice as it is, won't make the half baked system any more efficient. After the match the two large screens on the ends of the claws should be used for Metrolink announcements and tram times until the most of the fans boarded the trams.
As a teenager I used to leave my bike in different backyards on match days - a challenge at times remembering which yard it was in.Fuk me Bob, how the hell did we find our way around 20+ years ago. Negotitating them back streets around Maine Road was enough to lose anyone, but we all managed somewhow without seemless, collabaration and team wins, the latter of which we rarely got :)
Because the information will be more visible. Many tourists, away fans, day trippers, etc, haven’t got a clue where to look for tram times, tram frequencies, where to go to queue, etc. Regardless of the half-baked tram system, having people tknow when the trams are due, where to go to queue for trams , etc, should make waiting, queuing, boarding trams, etc better and faster. We’ve all been to airports, train stations, bus stations, etc, walking about aimlessly trying to find travel information and departure gates, stops, etc. All of that aside, City should do what they can to try and improve fans exiting the Etihad and catching the trams back to the City centre for 30 minutes after the match. It’s not much to ask for, and it can be done by the club. The alternative is players interviews, ads, etc on the big screens, with people standing around watching them, in what will be a very congested area after the match, making catching a tram back to the city centre even more problematic and stressful..Why, there is plenty of notice as it is, won't make the half baked system any more efficient.
Think it was 6d when I left mine in someone's yard back of the old scoreboard end.As a teenager I used to leave my bike in different backyards on match days - a challenge at times remembering which yard it was in.
Yea would seem a complete waste of the big screens. Think people would rather watch match highlights whilst they wait than view a really big version of something that will be on lit up signs that you can also view on your phone *shrugs*Why, there is plenty of notice as it is, won't make the half baked system any more efficient.
You mean at the 80 minute markAfter the match the two large screens on the ends of the claws should be used for Metrolink announcements and tram times until the most of the fans boarded the trams.
That sounds about right - when I got my first car and kids wanted to mind it they got a shilling when I returned - but only after I had checked it over.Think it was 6d when I left mine in someone's yard back of the old scoreboard end.
most of the Metrolink “announcements” and “info” at the stadium are complete fantasy anyway. Making them more visible won’t make them more accurate. More valuable would be to show the antics of the psycho Metrolink woman steward on the screen, so the rest of the public can see what their customers are subjected too! After the match the two large screens on the ends of the claws should be used for Metrolink announcements and tram times until the most of the fans boarded the trams.
It would be more helpful to show on the stadium screens where the end of the queue currently is, especially when it’s pitch black. If you can walk you’d be mad to join the back of the queue when it is outside the East Stand!most of the Metrolink “announcements” and “info” at the stadium are complete fantasy anyway.
