Yeah but as others keep pointing out, it will get pushed into the right place, being built on rollers.

The worrying thing at the moment it's facing the pitch, when are they going to turn it in the correct direction?

With the big screen on the front face of the hotel does that not mean there will be quite a few rooms without a window?

Also is the rake of the new terrace steeper than the existing L2? Looks like it from that image and would be much better if so.

At each extremity (east claw and east end of hotel), the room windows are on the sides of the building NOT on the end where the screen is going. So end rooms will be same as all the rooms going back into the block.

Off topic.

How not to build a stand extension. It’s taken LFC and the construction contractors 3 years to build a basic stand. And the stand still looks shit. Especially inside. TBF the brickwork does look good.

Nearly 3 years later, 2 main contractors, countless lessons learnt and not to mention a very large hole in our pockets. Blood sweat and tears I think is the phrase.

Proud to have completed the work on our clubs new stand. Definitely the toughest and most challenging project to date with a main contractor who was clearly dead and buried long before any announcement was made. Proud of all of our team who were a part of it - they didn’t let it break them.

Has anyone taken a close look at the “revised” sails ??

I’ve had a look at the before and after pictures, mine and CPO’s latest video(screen grabbed), and there doesn’t seem to be any noticeable changes. The sails/fins look the same shape, the same length, and the same thickness. (unfortunately) I’ll have a better look on Saturday.

Thanks Jrb, to my mind they at first glance do look better quality ,appear moulded rather than glued together , but only a closer look will properly tell !
