They just wanted the visiting United supporters to feel they were at home.

I’m 100% sure the new NS roof won’t start leaking once it’s completed.

Proper gorgeous cladding and fins.

There is a lot that is good there, but I maintain what I said a long time ago. It is the horizontal panels that imo make (or break it).

Not sure what that has to do with the North Stand project?

Quite a lot, very similar facade arrangements, both have 'metal' sails attached to the facade, similar panel size and module, etc. It has been one of the recurring comparison buildings on here.

Particular poor shot (my very early Digital Camera of the time had a focussing fault unfortunately) I took during the games of the Old North Stand when it was full! Look at that lovely scoreboard/screen, there were actually two at both ends back then. This is the one and only time I ever sat in the Away end at Eastlands!
