Two tier stand would be epic!
Are you thinking X Factor style auditions? ITV will be all over this.A big high stand like that has got to have the most vocal fans towards the middle/back and NOT the front. It’s the most important point of all if its built.
Those auditioning for lead vocalist should also bring a drummer for accompaniment just to really wind some people upDidsbury Dave could be Simon Cowell.
Singing auditions for the singing section.

200 FREE tickets to 1894 is what I said. The objective has to be to fill this stand with vocal fans but get the most vocal together in the middle. There must be about 2-3000 people in the existing safe standing areas and as many of them as poss or need to be together in the middle, hence offering it to them first and cheap. The rest should then look after itself.Good points.
Need more than 200 tickets. United have got a 1500 safe standing singing section. We need a minimum of 500 singers stood together to start off with. 1000 singers stood together would be good. Maybe more if the demand for the first 500, then 1000 is snapped up?
Important bit.
As all the (safe standing?) seats will be a available, there should be no problems or issues at all getting all the singers together in the stand. As it is now the singers are split up by the away fans, season tickets holders, match day tickets sales, etc.
Good luck with offering cheap tickets to supporters that sacked off going to games ahead of those supporters that have actually kept going. That would cause the whole lot to go up !My off the cuff “charter” to make this work:
Call it The New Kippax.
Publicize it heavily.
Clad the roof with sound reflecting material
Allow banners across the front of the upper tier.
Put exceptional quick bar/drinking facilities in.
Offer the 1894 Group 200 free tickets for the first season towards the middle/back of the stand.
Offer all season ticket holders in the existing safe standing areas first refusal on season tickets at half price.
Once that’s done offer cheap season tickets to lapsed local fans. Obviously that bit is hard to organise.
Then offer season tickets to the rest of the stadium.
Keep it much cheaper than the rest of the stadium.
Every step of the way make a big noise to everyone that this is the New Kippax.
That’s just off the cuff. The wider point is they have to go at this hard and publicise it massively. It can easily work.
I’m not saying lapsed fans should pay less, I’m saying it should be cheap all round, certainly initially to get it going . A vocal “end” like this would pay for itself in increased sales all round, especially in corporate and semi corporate areas. Fans want atmosphere and come to games to be part of it, especially young fans who become hooked for life.Good luck with offering cheap tickets to supporters that sacked off going to games ahead of those supporters that have actually kept going. That would cause the whole lot to go up !
I like most of the other ideas though. However, I’d say it’s highly unlikely they gonna spend £100m on a new stand then start offering freebies and discounts.
The Kippax can only be down the side of the ground.I’d image prices will be almost, if not exactly, the same as the south stand third tier and there will be a window for singers to join. Hopefully they call it The Kippax in order to stoke up enough emotion to get people to move. 1894 should have a block in the very middle of the tier to get things going.
It's ALL SEATERAs you say this needs to be done right, we have one shot at making a proper home end to generate the atmosphere the team deserve. We have to get this bang on.
Any news if the 2nd tier will be all safe standing?
1894 can do the displays but keep them away from songs and chants cos they're hopeless.1894 should have a block they manage with the club that comprises of 250 matchday tickets and 250 relocation tickets for season ticket holders.
If you make it permanent season tickets only, you’ll get some fans who want to be seen in the action but contribute fuck all, plus this allows other fans in the stadium which I imagine there would be many who would like to sing and shout in there for the odd game.
This is just an idea though, the important thing is the club meeting with fan groups to discuss ideas on the logistics of it all but I can’t see that happening.
Almost identical apart from a platform for the drums and Cappo .How similar to this is it?

No song for Phil Foden or Kyle Walker and " Harland Harland,Harland " for Erling Braut......they have a very limited song book and no fecking imagination.
The FOC section in ESL3, of which I'm 'Cappo', is the lead squad in getting all the other FOCs going.Ah!?
1894 as individuals and as a group don't start new chants off. Most of the chants are started by individuals or groups of lads other than 1894.
I'm not being funny, but why don't you try and start new chants off for those players and other City players without chants. Let's see how far you get. It's easy to criticize!
That can be another thing looked at when and if a new singing section is organised and started. People in the singing section may feel more confident to start a new chant off with the backing of other singers behind them?
The way things are going all singing will be banned soon anyway, too offensive and arrestable!1894 can do the displays but keep them away from songs and chants cos they're hopeless.
