Do I take it from this that @projectriver is pretty confident that the hearing is going to go our way? I know he's always said that the PL will find it very difficult to land any of the major charges but he's also made the point that you can never be sure how it's going to go

Your estimate of timetables ages ago looks to be very accurate. You thought the hearing would be in autumn (it's November) with the outcome known by Spring / early Summer next year. March at the earliest surely?

Day 55 of my posts counting down to the centenary of Maine Road’s opening game is a follow on from one from a few days ago. I posted a 1994 plan of what might have been in terms of Maine Road…

I have a copy of these plans its wasn't a New Kippax all around I will see if I can get them scanned and post on here
. In the meantime look at the detail on the picture in Gary's post you can see what was planned for each stand eg The North Stand would have had a new roof

North Stand and Platt Lane with an extra tier.

You can see from the Platt Lane how it still has the two rows of boxes and the same exits.

Not sure how realistic this all was to be honest... probably not much!

I do remember opening my programme one game and being agog at the centre pages illustration of what the new MR could look like.
I think Swales dined out on that for a while but looking back was clearly BS.

Can't put an exact time frame on it now but well before Franny Lee I think. Maybe mid 80s.

I had my copy of that poster signed by Rosler in the stadium, he was injured and I was sat near him. It was probably 94 or 95.

Infairness that would have probably looked better than the pile of shite we got, I'm sure I read somewhere the low cross beam under the main stand roof was originally designed to hold exec boxes but we ran out of dosh
