Surely they’d need the season to be over for a crane to be placed on to the pitch?

Only parts of the roof, they would need cranes on the pitch to remove the full roof

We sit just under one of the screen and received an email last week to say from Wolves game some bars would be shut and from Bournemouth 4 section of the roof maybe gone

Maybe but sure I saw something recently on here that to keep to the schedule some works would have to start Before the season finishes

It won’t be. They have to do it like the below pics and it takes 3-4 weeks.

What they could potentially do is start pulling the panelling off it.

We've been notified that 4 sections of the North Stand Roof will have reduced cover for the Bournemouth game

They can’t remove the old roof without access from pitch side They might start removing cladding in advance but that’s it

That’s the south stand, look at @sskies last video, extended trusses not fitted yet, not too sure if they have even arrived on site. Seats in the top tier, not sure we ready for them at this stage.

I realise it’s the south stand but surely the principle will be the same ! Read “goat meals “ post :-)

Looking at the angle of the new north stand roof, I think it’s different to the South. The extensions may be hindered by the old roof (tips). Unless my eyes deceive me.

The problem didn’t exist with the south stand as they put full size beams up.

its going to be a great stadium when complete, i do hope the club wake up and invite new season tickets holders at an afordable cost along with relocations, would be a shame if they screw it up and there are empty seats all over the stand, the noise from that stand would be the 12th man

We neee to keep the spirals exposed but there needs to be a led wrap or similar around the starting really make it a world class venue?
