Still blows my mind thatbat least two entire floors of the office/commercial building, even as a musum, won't have a single clear window with natural light and views on any side of them.

The only possible place left now is the small area of a few panels behind the mast climber. Othersise, those floors are completely windowless.

Surely the City square side has windows the lower floor is the store and it shows windows in the cgi
The current store has the windows blanked out either by posters or retail stands
The museum doesn’t need so much natural light especially for the older artefacts which need protection, also they tend to need lots of wall space also windows would be blocked by the exhibition boards the football experience is a VT which is likely to be using VR headsets speaking from experience they don’t like glass and light most VT studios don’t have any side windows

Ours will take slightly longer to be fit for play. The upper end of 6 weeks will be needed.

More convenient as it’s easier to lay down rolls of turf robbed from the local Scouse garden centre.

It was certainly reported by some outlets at the time, including Place North West, [following Clubs Feb 2023 announcement], that North Stand Extension would be "completed by August 2025", with Hotel completing in 2026. However,

That'll be where people maybe picked it up. Place North West often get things wrong though. The club's and Sisk's statements and documents as part of the applications have all said end of 2025.

How long have they got left before the cranes and protective pitch covering have to be removed before the pitch can be relayed for next season?

I think someone that was at the open doors event said they only had 4-5 weeks to get the old roof off and get off the pitch for the club to get the grass in order. They are not far off 2 weeks into that.

And if people are saying it takes 6 weeks for the pitch to be ready, working back from 16th of August, Sisk would need to be off the pitch by July the 5th the latest. The two roughly add up.

Chance our first game is away buys them comfort, but wouldn't think anyone wants to gamble on that.

There is not needing so much light,and then there is not having any whatsoever. Zero. Sorry mate, I find that odd, I stand by that. And yes I know what a museum is.

Particularly as they introduced 'light voids' internally. Even if they did want it completely pitch black in there, surprised they are building it the way they are. I.e permanently solid/opaque, rather than blanking it from the inside. It makes it almost certainly impossible to change that or adapt in the future.

As they'd need to remove the etfe roof and structure, put up cranes/scaffolds, strip off sails and remove fully sealed external walls above and below operating floors. Then reinstate all. As opposed to just removing internal blanking panels from the inside for a bit of future flexibility. They seem pretty commited to whatever is in there having no windows.

The club wouldn't know that till the fixtures are announced though would they? Unless there are mechanisms by which they can request that, for Sisk to then plan accordingly.

I'm sure Richard Masters and the PL with be sympathetic to City's request.

No doubt it will be Liverpool away.

Liverpool have put in a request to the Premier League for their first game of next season to be played away from home.

This is due to ongoing works to expand the Anfield Road Stand, which are due to be completed at the end of July and will increase the capacity of the stadium to 61,000.

I think they must be doing ok, I am sure they will drop the roof sections onto the pitch to dismantle. The big job that they still have to do is take the cable net off the old roof and hope they have done their sums or the European guy knows what he is doing when he taps the cable with a hammer.

They can request it. Rumours that Everton have asked for their first 3 games to be away from home but that would be unprecedented because the league rules are that you can only play a maximum of 2 games away in a row, unless a fixture has been rescheduled due to cup clashes.
