What a complete bell end!!!
Liverpool are looking at expanding the KOP to accommodate more Norwegian and Irish plastic Liverpool fans. Rumoured to be 70,000ish.
All about the overlaps isnt it. A tram can deal with that on the ground while they pull down more bays up at height.I’m intrigued to see how long it takes to scrap a roof section.
Which does indeed happen on every jobThe winging it technique,:)
Yeah. They have to reroute the road behind the stand for it to be viable.Hogan has said that there are absolutely no plans to further develop Anfield in the foreseeable future.

Wouldn't think so. Don't see why there should be given when it was built. If there was they wouldn't be chomping at it like that.Do we think any asbestos in that fluffy stuff in the old roof ?

IIRC blue and brown asbestos was banned in the mid 80, white asbestos just before 2000 so for any to be included here is impossibleWouldn't think so. Don't see why there should be given when it was built. If there was they wouldn't be chomping at it like that.
That was pretty much my point.IIRC blue and brown asbestos was banned in the mid 80, white asbestos just before 2000 so for any to be included here is impossible

I am no expert in this but I think I am right in saying to do that you would need some sort of solid foundation or something that could support the weight of the roof?I’ve mentioned this before but the latest @cpoverview vid made me think of it again.
If they fixed that junction plate in the cable net to the Colin Bell stand roof (and do the same at the south stand end) you could do away with the cable net in the south and north stand.
Obviously you’d have to do the same in the west stand.
It looks like a pretty straightforward job to attach the plate to the stand because it’s already in position.
Each stand would then have an independently supported roof which would make expansion easier down the line (and generally just make it all a bit tidier)

So something like that but it would have to go down all the way to the ground and be cemented in deep foundationsI am no expert in this but I think I am right in saying to do that you would need some sort of solid foundation or something that could support the weight of the roof?
Just having a metal bar to the roof and attaching the cable onto that I don’t think that would work ?
Would need to do something like the north that attached to a solid base with big foundations.
