North Stand Construction Discussion

Fa
A couple more games like today and that will probably be about as full as the new stand will get.

We were not entertained.
Fans don't go to "be entertained ", they go to support the club they love. City will have zero problem filling that stand whatever run of form they are in so long as they get the pricing right.

Final comment from basically a sh*t day - the new screen in the SE corner has a different aspect ratio (basically wider) than the other two - the extra bit on the right hand side is filled with a slice of ETIHAD advertising top to bottom - doesn't look that good sadly...

Big open space between temporary bars and bogs

This is going to be a problem - gets very narrow as you move from 137 to 136'ish - basically the bogs stick out behind the seating slope and they haven't removed some existing brickwork at the back of the stand

And these doors, I reckon, will eventaully block off access from current non-corporate 101,142,141 and 140 - time will tell
Bogs !! Can't you say toilets you heathen ?

You mean like the full houses we were getting under Pearce and Hughes....

Our 'core base' probably isn't as big as you think, probably near 40k to 45k

Not if as I said it's priced correctly

Fair comment. Personally, I don’t think any 'non-hospitality' seat should cost more than £40 anywhere in any PL ground.

The club could allocate all of level 2 CB and East stands to hospitality and charge a fixed £30/£40 for everywhere else.

They'd still make a fortune.

Looked fine to me, dont see the issue

suspected that would be like this - this is also possibly part of the reason why City didn't add the equivalent extra block of 3rd tier seats at the north end of the east/west stands. I think the 3rd tier away fans are similarly afflicted, the other side of the screen blocks part of their view of the stadium as a whole

Sorry, something went wrong with the video I took inside the ground yesterday.

The video started off ok, then for some reason it went into slow motion as I'm panned around the Etihad. The sound was f*cked up as well.

I had to delete the video.

I’ll try again against the Rags.

I did take some pictures which I’ll post later tonight.
