Don’t think the “castellated “ pattern and the black mortar help :-(Took this outside entrance B today. That bricklaying is an ironic joke isn’t it? Surely no tradesman can do that on purpose.

Tell you what gets my OCD going…the difference in the sizes of the screens at the claw ends. Maybe it’s just me but they look vastly different!!

Surely that will get fixedThe corbelling is deliberate. The wonkyness, is not.
Surely that will get fixed
That must be fixed though surely. I cannot believe a multi million project like this would tolerate such frankly unprofessional and shoddy workmanship. The corbelling is deliberate. The wonkyness, is not.
Mate. They have spirit levels. That is inexcusable. I wouldn’t tolerate that on a garden wall never mind Manchesters biggest hotel. Not sure it will tbh.
I do feel for the brickies somewhat. A poor choice of brick for projections and detailing of that sort. That's not entirely on them.

Its that bad, I can't believe it hasn't been pulled already. The fact its continuing like that makes me think they wont alter it. Sisk love an NCR...The corbelling is deliberate. The wonkyness, is not.
Says fuck all for any supervision and quality control being applied if that is deemed acceptable. Hope that isn’t typical of the wider build. What are they going to do, rebuild entire sections of walls? They Should, I agree, but impractical and arguably disproportionate. Unless the club as a client refuses to accept it, doubt anyone will enforce it being 'fixed'.
The reveals/returns are the obvious thing that can maybe be locally redone and fixed, the rest is a bit of a go again job.
The issue with the brick choice is there too. They've effectively gone with a 'rustic' brick that can take imperfections, but with the detailing of a crisp modern brick, which makes any issues all the more obvious. And some possibly inevitable.
It meant to be that way ! Wait till it’s finished before u criticise , like u said even Stevie wonder could do a better job !Says fuck all for any supervision and quality control being applied if that is deemed acceptable. Hope that isn’t typical of the wider build.
What do you think will be different for those bricks already in situ when its finished? It meant to be that way ! Wait till it’s finished before u criticise , like u said even Stevie wonder could do a better job !
When finished it will look ace
nmc I've resorted to having a few beers tonight to console myself with that last cladding piece, I'll check it out in the morning aswell. Great result today@ssskies pet hate - that piece of missing trim on the women’s facility seems to have been fitted. I’m sure it’ll help all of us with OCD feel a little better about the world. Great video as ever @cpoverview - thank you.
