North Stand Construction Discussion

Think we’ve missed a trick not having a rooftop terrace on the hotel - not sure what people think?
The roof is used for plant and equipment mainly the HVAC units so they would have added a plant room which would have been another floor Also the design of the hotel would have to included F&B facilities close by with the Uk weather is there sufficient days of good weather to justify it?

Solar panels galore too I think. Plus it would overlook the presidential suite balcony (or whatever it's called), not a chance that would be allowed.

I keep wondering what is going on in the south west corner, is it a jack in the box thing?

Managers Corner apparently, whatever that is - I'm still bamboozled by the fact there is no 4th screen there

There is something else being done in the corner a company that City use for building bars and hospitality is currently constructing something

The cantilever scaffolding fixed a various points on the existing steel structure in the southwest corner could mean they might be erecting a 22 in plasma screen. Binoculars provided on the day. :-)

More concert news as The Weeknd (I've no idea why they take the "e" out either) have announced an Etihad concert in June 2026.

What about the weekdy? (Also don’t know why they taken out the a ) ;-)

What do people think of the widening of the distance between the seats before they get to the exits, as opposed to keeping the distance the same between the seats before they get to the exits.

Apologies for the poor screen grab.

Porkers sit in the lower part of the stand where the piles are driven deeper for extra stability
