North Stand Construction Discussion

You can see the new and extra 6000 rail seats United have installed on the the 2nd tier of the Stretford End in these pictures. The lower tier has a capacity of 7500 retail seats, giving a total capacity of 13,500 rail seats in United’s home end. I’ve rounded up the

We’re at 3000 rail seats on the new 2nd tier of the new North stand capacity of 15,000-16,000. I can’t find the exact figures of the old and new North stand capacities. Figures differ.
Who cares what is happening at the swamp? Let’s not pollute this thread with the shite

Surely we will be looking to do this in SSL3 too ? seems daft they never did it when they did the Away end in the third tier
For safety reasons alone, you’d think SSL3 would be all safe standing. One over exuberant fan loses his balance up there and a few hundred people could be avalanched down that tier. Don’t know how it’s never happened.

You've got every right not to care.

It was only one post.

Maybe I should have posted it in the atmosphere thread instead?.

I do care.

Seeing 13,500 rail seats compared to our 3000 rail seats is very frustrating and disappointing to me.

I'm sure you don't feel like that about it, which is fair enough.

Maybe, that was Penders guess (or question maybe) but I don't see how they're getting to all of it just from there?
The etfe roof is on sturdy steel trusses that will ( I assume) be sufficient for foot traffic for cleaning and maintenance works so it’s likely it’s just a physical access point , so door openings to be formed ( as per the roof walk access)

@jrb, you are spot on, it's Manchester City that is making the mistakes here
