Things seemed to have completely slowed down on the stand? Hotel fit out the priority?

Internal work going on at a pace in the stand, hotel and commercial building (Medlock Place) As Ive posted previously IMHO they will be getting the stand partially open as soon as possible in light of possible significant games in UCL, FAC and hopefully the PL

There was quite a few on the roof yesterday, presumably making sure its water tight for any test events that may come up in march I guess

We all thought construction had slipped.
Looking at the drone videos and pictures during the build, we could see that.
Looks like the test events will be towards the end of the season now, or in a worst case scenario, in the Summer months without any football matches.
Shades of the COOP Live Arena build, but hopefully not as bad?
I wonder if SISK might get stung on the fixed build price?

I like the stand extension and the fan zone looks promising from the early CGI images, but I can’t love the hotel to be honest. It is a strange shape and I don’t think the sails do anything for it. Maybe it will look better from the ground when it is finished and properly landscaped. Anyway, 250 miles away I can’t see it from our house.

The planting, landscaping, street furniture, video screens, etc will somewhat soften it's appearance.

We aren’t allowed to criticise as people on this thread get uppity that we are spoilt but while you are having a gentle quick moan, I’d like to add my displeasure at the red bricks. They just look crap.

Even use blue bricks like they used on the Joie Stadium if bricks is the option.
