To be fair they have been building a new school half a mile from our house. The old school continued in old buildings and until early this year the replacement was an eyesore, but now completed and the old school demolished, it looks better than before, but not exactly brilliant.

I have my own term for salts leaking out of brickwork not properly matured. It is not Efflorescence, it is effluesence.

Visibly, perhaps things have slowed down, but there will be a lot going on inside

The planting, landscaping, street furniture, video screens, etc will somewhat soften it's appearance.

That’s bit like building a bank and planting trees to screen off a nuclear power station from local residents ;-)

We all thought construction had slipped.
Looking at the drone videos and pictures during the build, we could see that.
Looks like the test events will be towards the end of the season now, or in a worst case scenario, in the Summer months without any football matches.
Shades of the COOP Live Arena build, but hopefully not as bad?
I wonder if SISK might get stung on the fixed build price?

Does any body know if there is a penalty clause on the date of completion

Been some issues in the internal issues in the build, SISK still working out how many weeks have been lost, original plan was to have it tested and open for Arsenal but now highly unlikely
