North Stand Construction Discussion

Would any one like to guess the 2 separate Cross Bar and City Hall Hospitality configurations and areas inside the wider City Hall? Are both of them located on opposite sides of City Hall, facing each other, leaving the central area of City Hall for access to and from NSL1 and NSL2.(via stairs), and to the outside fan zone?

I've taken a screenshot on my mobile. Apologies, I haven't marked off the side areas of City Hall, but I'm sure you know what I mean?

The video had a birds eye plan view of the Cross Bar layout, so that's pretty clear. The initial for the City Hall didnn't, but I think there was one later. That shows you the layout. But you can work it out from the videos, it is consistent.

Note the Cross Bar is not 'within' the City Hall, it is a level above, effectively the original GA+ bar. It hasn't changed size location or format.

Thanks for the clarification Coatigan.

It will be interesting to see the City Hall layout during the test event/s. Hopefully somebody will take some pictures and post them on the thread. A drone flythrough showcasing the completed City Hall on the City website would be good.

Don't think it would be ready this season, think the stand will open without it, and only toilets and escapes ready.

I personally think there will be more than 500 in there. I think we are fixed on 500, because that’s how many have been moved from North Stand Level 0.

When you look at the pictures of the fly through, you can access City Hall from the Level 1. So, I think this gives the club the option of offering tickets with access to City Hall on a match by match basis.

Example: If I sell back my season ticket (match ticket) back to the club through ticket exchange, they can sell this as they do at match day price or sell it as a match day ticket with a premium I.e. access to City Hall.

Another example, if I am a season ticket holder in Level 0, and I want to upgrade my ticket to have access to City Hall, would I pay a one off upgrade for say the Derby? What would people pay?

I think the club could sell upgrades to City Hall, given the capacity of 1800. How much would that make I don’t know…

The club have specifically stated the City Hall capacity offering is 500. In their recent statements.

Looking at the sky walk, zip wire and abseiling attractions, it looks like you can see the abseil anchor points in the picture. Not sure what direction the zip wire will go? I think it would be too steep of an angle to go onto the pitch.

One for the drone operators to look for. For the zip wire, there would need to be a landing area. From the Medlock Square video, it doesn’t look like it goes from the stand over the new Square to Joe Mercer way.
