I think at the start of the construction, 2 rows of seats at the back of NL2 were removed where the hoardings were and SS Skies latest video shows that the seats are in the process of being put back. Please correct me if I am wrong.

They're making good progress on the fan zone's roof supports.

It crossed my mind that the stand might open for Villa and after the season perhaps a trophy presentation, depending on the outcome of the Premier League and FA Cup Final!

Fair point. For me, I would rather see a mural of Helen the Bell, our greatest fan, either in the seat pattern or within the stand.

Would have been nice to have had it at least partially open for next weekend. But I guess, seeing the way it seems (repeat for the hard of hearing, SEEMS) to be dragging on, that that was never going to happen.

Think maybe now they are fitting normal seats ready for the Villa game, and then fit the padded seats needed, maybe depending how many sold in the summer.

They were, my seat was in the rows. Apparenlty we get first refusal to have the seat back after.
