I’ve never been in rail seats at City so suppose I shouldn’t even be commenting on them really. Maybe newer grounds and especially ones like Everton that have presumably been purpose built with rail seats in mind are better.
I’m going off away ones I’ve been in like Old Trafford, where it’s literally just a seat not tipped down with the same cramped space to stand in. Waste of time.
I think the whole thing is a disappointment to me though. For years all this talk of reintroducing standing had me picturing an old fashioned terrace, where you could rock up and stand where you like. Then it eventually comes in and you’re just crammed in front of your assigned seat.
