North Stand expansion - seating, ticketing etc

I agree regards naming the East stand after Pep, however I still maintain the North stand should be called the 93:20 stand.

Can't be true, certain posters told us it was confirmed the best part of a year ago. It was that daft I've forgotten what he kept saying it was.

For the most part, yeah I thought the same. The half (for now) being flexi is maybe potentially part interesting, in that it suggests they expect circa 4k to relocate. Asked on the other thread so a bit of doubling here, but opens up the question/guesses of what they do with the rest if less than that relocate.

I'm assuming that the structure of the South Stand corners where it meets CB and East does not allow for large screens. I'm in SSL1 114 and am hoping that the screens will stay where they are with the expanded North stand.

Safe standing is shit in my opinion.

Bring back proper standing or stop wasting money on stupid rails. Might as well just tell people in certain seats that they’re ’allowed’ to stand up and save the money.

I’ve got calcified bumps on my shins and scars up my leg and hand of from celebrating goals before safe standing rails came in.

Saw one lad cut his face open badly at the Hawthorns about ten years ago on a screw that holds the seat in place as about three rows worth of fans piled down the seats as they all lost their balance.

Safe standing rails are miles better than when it was just seats.

I’ve never been in rail seats at City so suppose I shouldn’t even be commenting on them really. Maybe newer grounds and especially ones like Everton that have presumably been purpose built with rail seats in mind are better.

I’m going off away ones I’ve been in like Old Trafford, where it’s literally just a seat not tipped down with the same cramped space to stand in. Waste of time.

I think the whole thing is a disappointment to me though. For years all this talk of reintroducing standing had me picturing an old fashioned terrace, where you could rock up and stand where you like. Then it eventually comes in and you’re just crammed in front of your assigned seat.
