North Stand expansion - seating, ticketing etc

I agree there should be a family area, but not in level 2.
Kids want to be as close to the action as possible to try and get a glimpse of their hero's. Certainly not up in the gods so they can get an overview of play and see how the different teams formations are shaping up etc

When I was a kid I used to love going further up into the old Kippax stand. It was part and parcel of let’s see how much higher I could go up into the Kippax stand until I finally made it to the singing corner, next to the away fans, as I got older.

Kids today are shoehorned into L1 for various and innocuous reasons by football in general, and by the clubs. Football clubs want to wrap kids in cotton wool at football matches these days.

I think kids would love it in the new NSL2, climbing up the steps, taking their seat with their family, seeing football matches from a totally different view and perspective that they don’t see from L1, and hearing and joining in with the chanting on the new NSL2.

I appreciate holding a sign up saying Haaland please give me your shirt would be a waste of time on NSL2.

NORTH STAND - join reps from 1894 Citymatters Solid Citizens and King of the Kippax 8pm Tuesday - THE MANCUNIAN WAY YOU TUBE CHANNEL - follow

Morning all - reps from 1894 Citymatters and Solid Citizens all were on City YouTube channel on 4th Nov.

3 of the panelists were in the room when club were releasing their plans (which subsequently have been changed ie the forced evictions were never part of a discussion)

The others are myself and Ged Isaacs from King of the Kippax

For anyone who comes on here and says why are the groups not buying into this and that and why aren’t people jumping to move (well we STILL don’t know any prices for a start) but please have a look at the show - extra hospitality sections in a “blue wall” are not going to improve the atmosphere and our main focus at the minute is trying to provide some support to those affected.

Except no one is being "forced out" and there is no way that they would get advance notice as it'd be posted on social media within seconds (which it was BTW). I'm not sure how an email can be other than impersonal?

If they want a talk with the club they're going to have to come up with something better than that.
I'm finding it difficult to see how anyone can defend this to be honest. I guess some fans think the club should be beyond criticism on absolutely everything.

My idea would be to have a whole block of seats in the new stand which are not allocated to individual fans. As you arrive at this block stewards direct fans to their seats which start filling at the front and slowly fill up row by row. This system would allow fans to sit together in larger groups as they arrive at the block. Genius or what?

The PL (and government?) say "No". Sorry, those days are long gone.
