I agree there should be a family area, but not in level 2.
Kids want to be as close to the action as possible to try and get a glimpse of their hero's. Certainly not up in the gods so they can get an overview of play and see how the different teams formations are shaping up etc
When I was a kid I used to love going further up into the old Kippax stand. It was part and parcel of let’s see how much higher I could go up into the Kippax stand until I finally made it to the singing corner, next to the away fans, as I got older.
Kids today are shoehorned into L1 for various and innocuous reasons by football in general, and by the clubs. Football clubs want to wrap kids in cotton wool at football matches these days.
I think kids would love it in the new NSL2, climbing up the steps, taking their seat with their family, seeing football matches from a totally different view and perspective that they don’t see from L1, and hearing and joining in with the chanting on the new NSL2.
I appreciate holding a sign up saying Haaland please give me your shirt would be a waste of time on NSL2.
