North Stand expansion | Trial Event - Wed 20th May (p110)

Perhaps I'm misreading but aren't your prices coming down for this season at least? I've no doubt (at this moment in time anyway) that the existing holders will pay whatever the new ones are being asked for the upcoming season in 2027/28.
Unfortunately not. Prices are staying the same which is fine but then looks like it's a 13% rise minimum the season after which for me is unsustainable as there's 3 of us. Going to be forced to move this year so I at least get a chance of a position I can tolerate. At least the club gets what they want eh.

They may well be, but if they are anything like 93:20 they will be regular SC holders. Not hospitality to me, normal fans that want a bit extra. To be honest call them what you like but the North stand isn’t ‘full of hospitality’ it’s very far from that.

Is that not what hospitality is though?

Note, not corporate.

Running out of time for test events , youth cup would be decent choice but was supposed to be same day as Brentford first team game
The last time we had a test even it was 12 August 2015 and the first game was 16 August 2015.

The time before that it was the Barcelona game.

We need your help!

Your attendance at our exclusive open training session is needed for the Club to be granted a full stadium capacity for the Chelsea match.

The training session, which doubles as the new stadium’s official test event, is an unmissable evening of fun for the entire family.

Gates open at 5:45pm with face painters, football freestylers and, of course, Club mascots Moonbeam and Moonchester all on hand to provide entertainment for children and adults alike before Manchester City’s two First Team squads - MCFC and MCWFC - take to the pitch from 6:45pm sharp.

All they can do is try their method; if it does not work, then they will have to change it. Just like what they have had to do with the season tickets and the exchange

New North Stand, Level2 - Ticket prices and building the atmosphere

We now have a great opportunity.

The new North Stand ticket prices in Level 2, are very good value. They start at £425 for an adult, £280 for 18-21, and £200 for under 18. These are in a safe standing area of 13 rows at the rear, across the entire new stand.

This is compared with the South Stand lower, Level 0 - £745 for an adult, £500 for 18-21, and £240 for under 18. Level 0 is currently the area occupied by the "atmosphere" group.

Attractive ticket prices have now been announced. There are clear cost incentives for like-minded fans who want to boost the atmosphere, particularly towards the back of Level 2 in the New North Stand and the South Stand Level 3. All fans still have their part to play across the stadium.

Traditionally vocal fans around the country gathered towards the back of their end or side. This is where most sound can be generated. It is recognised that building atmosphere is better coming from the back.

The New North Stand has the advantages of one, very large tier, is visually impressive, acoustically much better, and will be entirely for City fans.

We have won the League Cup, are in the final of the FA Cup and have the Premier League all to play for. Now we will have a new stand.

Let's grasp these huge opportunities on and off the pitch.

I'm 65 but still sing my gonads off at games. In SSL3 atm and have registered interest in the NS but there are no rail seats at the front of the stand.
I would defo go in the singing section if it ran from the back of the NS to the top of where NSL2 is at the moment .

Looking forward to hearing more from 1894 on this but - there's been debate on whether the new North stand is geared towards atmosphere and whether it's a club priority, and it's very clearly set out here. There are absolutely enough singers across the ground even outside SS1 and SS3 to make this work, we just have to do it.

So when you click on “Buy” to register your interest does it give you the option to indicate “Enhanced Singing Area”, or standing safe standing.

I think those £745 seats may be toughest to sell,
certainly higher rows towards the cheap seats

The Club have the same price for both existing & New ST for the lower priced seats at rear of the stand and at pitch side, eg £425, £485 & £540. However, the lower tier and front of upper have higher prices for Non ST, compared to existing ST, eg £745 v £620 and £765 v£675, whilst the remaining seats are same price [£745], for both existing and new.

£425 ÷ 19 = £22.36.

The North stand, safe standing, season tickets are going to fly out.

Remember. City stated that if the demand was there for the North stand, safe standing section, they would look at increasing it to 5000 safe standing seats, or expanding it further. I can't remember the exact wording.

They can't do that now because the blocks, seats and prices have now been released, so that was never going to happen, as I pointed out.

Never expected it to happen for next season, think it will happen the season after, first if there is the demand but mainly if those seated close to the safe standing spend a lot of the time standing as well.

Think that will be the case, if loads of blues are up there standing and singing think people below will want to join in

Fair point.

I think there will be a lot of standing at the back of the seats in-front of the safe standing seats, especially for the big games.

The stewards are going to have a nightmare.

Liverpool threatened Liverpool fans with match bans or having their season tickets taken off them if they didn't sit down in the upper tier of the expanded Anfield Road stand. Apparently the Norwegians and Irish weren't happy about that. ;-)

They never stated what they would do or how they would measure if demand was there. Those tickets will sell out instantly, so what’s the clubs plan then?

The safe standing section should go further down the stand.

I also think there should be safe standing in the back six/ seven rows of ss3 as well

Just a point of interest, do you remember or know the exact wording?

Is it in the PA?

It's vague. Maybe it'll depend on how many people express an interest in moving to the singing areas. There are rail seats on either side of the NS2 that go all the way down, so it's not fixed that they're only the £425 tickets.

So?

Which blocks and numbers are the safe standing blocks down the side of NSL2?

The stand layout shown below is a little confusing.

Only level 2, dark green, safe standing season tickets are £425.

The 2 outer safe standing blocks, 233 + 240 - pale blue - are £745, right? The same price as the seated blocks? Wow!

The side safe standing blocks are more expensive the further down they go.
