North Stand expansion | Trial Event - Wed 20th May (p110)

I would have thought they can give you a pass or letter to show that you can bring your own food for health reasons. Oh well at least you tried.
Have gone down this route in the past. They gave me a certificate to say I was able to bring my own food in. Expected it to last for the season. Turned out I needed to ring up and arrange it before it every home game, lol. It's a joke.

Agree the club should cater for this, my wife often brings her own food into the ground, for different reasons, and never been questioned or confiscated. I hadn’t realised this wasn’t permitted?
I guess it depends on the mood the stewards are in. I've always been told no.

Oh dear. Sounds amazing. How will the media deal with yet another successful addition to our empire by our owners.

The term test event is basically shorthand for the final hurdles a club has to jump to get its safety certificate from the local council. It's not really enough to just have a few hundred people milling around at a training session because the authorities need to see the infrastructure actually buckle under a bit of pressure. They’ll be looking at things like how quickly the concourses clear at half-time, whether the turnstiles can handle a proper surge of fans, and if the PA system is audible over a chanting crowd. Usually, they’ll run these in stages, filling the stand to twenty-five or fifty per cent capacity first to prove they can evacuate the tier safely. A Youth Cup match is the classic choice because it’s a controlled way to get thousands of people into those specific seats without the massive security headache of a Premier League game.
Fuck knows how they passed the test event for SS3

Getting out of the stand is borderline dangerous with thousands trying to get down the steps then those people have to get through a standard sized double door to get to the stairs..

Whoever designed the layout wants shooting

Loving seeing these photos, looks like they’ve done a top job, seen a video of the concourse too and it looks smart.
I’ve moved to block 236 row 28, from the pics people have uploaded I’m very happy with that!

We sorted our move today and are happy with it, one thing I have never understood is there where 3 options when registering , safe standing , enhanced singing and a standard seat. I have seen nothing since then to suggest which area is the supposed enhanced singing section is, is it any clearer in the ground??
