North Stand - fans being moved for "City Hall" GA+ section

That would make sense - back 3 or 4 rows are in-between the raised disabled sections, so presume the new GA+ section will be in front of that. Not sure how they're going to manage access to the fancy bar though, as everyone will be using the same walkways and then having to use a season ticket to get into a bar area seems like a pain for those who've paid to not have to deal with the riff raff
It’s been working fine in 93:20 for yonks.

I raised something similar with Danny Wilson at a Supporters Club meeting over a year ago. It was clear the GA+ seats were non negotiable so I asked why do t you encourage singers in 93:20 and Joe’s to move to the North Stand GA+.

Danny said they would look at it as part of the fan engagement for the new North Stand. I sensed Danny though not a lot of people would move from the rest of the ground to the new North Stand.

It's obvious that the seat moves and GA+ areas are non negotiable but to me they don't remove the potential of the north stand as a new vocal end which I know is a different discussion to this. Financial incentives would cost the club in the short term but be a loss leader in terms of improving the "product" and attracting new fans.

Maybe that’s what the Club should have done but it’s about maximising revenue, it’s not just for the fans. Investors will come first and they will believe the hospitality is easier to sell lower down the stand. Hopefully this will subsidise cheaper rail and other seating. City will say part of the hospitality is at the very top of the stand anyway.

One thing that mystified me in these videos is the guy criticising the building of a hotel Fair dos it has no direct relevance to him but if it helps pay for cheaper tickets - with guests from the Coop Live as well as City - then that’s a bonus IMHO.

So you think a few hundred hospitality seats at the back of NSL1 will subsidise 3000 safe standing seats on NSL2? Do me a favour Tim. You make it up as you go long Tim, just to appease the club on BM. The Hotel won’t subsidise cheaper tickets either. What evidence have you got for either of those two outlandish statements? Take your OSC, club, tinted glasses off for once.

Does the Tunnel Club subsidise 6000 safe standing seats on SSL1 as well?

Why would hospitality be easier to sell behind the goal? I’d argue it’s a worse view.

I’ve seen no evidence whatsoever that all this corporate seating will subsidise any cheap tickets. I’ve been hearing that for the last ten years haha (tunnel club, advertising boards)

I stand just infront the overhang on SSL1. The view isn’t the best, and that is standing. So what's the view going to be like seated at the back of NSL1 under the overhang, paying a hospitality seat price?

Those at the front of tier 1 in the planning app have been knocked on the head, they may be pushed back for The Cross Bar patrons behind the present hoarding. They'll not be above the 2nd row of vomitories.

The 350(?) seats affected by the City Hall GA+ seats are in the middle 2 blocks at the back of tier 0.

So this isn’t happening now then (gold colour seats at the bottom of NSL1/second tier front rows)?:

I thought there were about 500-600 GA+ plus 300 in Sky Platform hospitality. The prices being charged in those areas could reduce / cross subsidise the cost of 3,000 rail seats significantly.

The rest of your post is your usual boring tosh. At least you gave me a laugh last week when you took 100% credit for the recent ticket price reductions. More jokes like that are very welcome mate.

In fairness, you did help to create a hostile environment for tourists that has its pros and cons.

The Medlock should buck the downward trend due to PL and CL matches, as well as concerts at the Coop Live Arena and at the Etihad stadium, and year round events, conferences, etc at the Etihad.

You’re the one making the statements Tim, with not one shred of evidence to back those statements up. It’s you who is posting tosh. If you are going to make statements like that, post the proof as well.

And then you finish off your post off with a silly and immature jibe.

In db’s excellent illustration above, the combined total for corporate/hospitality/GA+ is closer to 1,200 seats so that’s a big wedge.

The extra flexi golds are likely to be affordable to most families who want to go on a regular basis. Obviously, the expensive tickets won’t be.

We don’t know the ticket prices but City Execs are aware of supply and demand and are unlikely to take the piss by risking a half empty expanded North Stand.
