Northern Ireland vs. Wales attendance

Does anyone know why the stadium is empty besides a few fans? Its at the Aviva Stadium in Rep. Ireland but there seem to be more Welsh than Irish.

There's more fans at some non-league games, crazy.

That is seriously embarrassing for the FAI. A 50,000 stadium and there's maybe 3,000 there tonight. Totally pointless tournament.

Apathy. It sounds harsh, but no one gives a shnitzel, about a meaningless game, between two poor teams. When you add in the expenses, and the fact Ireland is skint, just makes it even more pointless. I'm glad England didn't bother with this.

Its got something to do with the N. Irish fans having to buy tickets and pay
extra for buses laid on by IFA-if you don't travel on these buses you don't
get a ticket-so the fans are boycotting these games.
