Cheers Kev. Been into rare Soul since the mid eighties mate (just missed Totw Stafford) used to travel nationwide back then. The 100 club nighters were mint.
These days I'm an occasional and erratic soulie and stay pretty local to North Manchester.
I don't have a big collection really just what I've picked up over the years here and there and the bulk of what I've bought in the last ten years is on CD as I've no aspirations to DJ, (even though if I had the collection I reckon I could give some of them a run for their money).
Don't do the weekenders because I don't really get the time. That's not to say I'd like to though.
I'm off to Whitby this Saturday on a scooter rally, camping overnight which will be fookin fffffreezing. The soul rooms on the scooter rallies are good quality these days.
