I love em both for different reasons. I prefer the vocal performance of Shawn Robinson, but I prefer the earthy horn section on Barbara Mercers version.

Just seen that Chris Jasper from the Isley Brothers has passed away aged 73.
I think that he was an important song writer for the group, I remember some of the credits for their songs as being
Isley - Jasper - Isley.
RIP Chris.
