Norwich (a) post-match thread

We shouldn't have to rely on one player in KDB, that team he put out today was good enought to beat most teams in the prem and they should of made a better fist of it
Hopefully just a bad day at the office

Lose by far and away your two best CD’s (admittedly one often injured), and you are going to notice it. I fear our only hope is if the dippers lose VVD for a long period of time and we all know that wont happen, as their luck with injuries is clear to all.
Their luck with injuries to key players is freakish. Redknapp rarely says anything of interest, but tonight he hinted that in his limited mind we have some sort of issue with team spirit, but he also said something like 'take VVD and Salah out of the Liverpool team for any length of time and you have a team struggling to make the top four'.

If you are referring to me, I don't mind losing, What I do mind is if the players who are.paid millions a.year don't put a.fucking shift in
It was one of those days. This team under pep works as hard as everyone. Those players, including stones and otamendi, have broken every record there is in English football. And one bad day and you are all over them. Not fair, not right and not city

So they worked hard today?

When pool benched Firminho for Ox or so and were drawing a game recently, Klopp sharply made a change at half time. In no time it yielded result. Pep can be very obstinate for his own good atimes. He makes it difficult for himself sometimes.

Not seeing the error of his ways was poor. It was obvious the team out there wasn’t going to perform. To not make a change was pisd poor from such a good manager.

not happy with this 'losing" malarkey. Proper ruined the week-end. Almost forgotten what to do. Anyway, northwich 'ad nowt to lose, and 3 goals from 1 chance created is pretty impressive, we only got 2 from 22. Wonder what pep said to our lads before the game, probably on the lines of "right you lot, we've won this already, not arsed about tactics and effort, save yourselves for Wednesday", typical Pep stuff really, dont know what the board see in him tbh, and dont get me started on the backroom staff, more injuries than general custer, we must be the sick-note capital of football.

One question, have you ever played football?

Stones and Tarka the Ota gave me Brian Gayle and Alan Kernaghan flashbacks today. With a Brazilian Officer Dibble in goal.

No getting away from it, it was a horrendous performance and hugely disappointing result. Don’t think there will be a lot of margin for error again this season, so just got to hope it was a one-off. Fuck all we can do about it now so not going to dwell on it, on to the next game. Hopefully it’ll serve as a kick up the arse and encourage Guardiola to give the likes of Foden and Cancelo a game on Wednesday night.
