Opta was founded in 1996 and started doing Premier League statistics in 1997/98.

In 1999 they started collecting all these stats and at some point they rewatched all Premier League games from 92-97 to count them retroactively.

But he was robbed of an assist against Arsenal away this season, where he ran to the byline and crossed it low with his left for Sterling to tap it in.

But because the ball took a deflection they took it off him.
