IMO as much as I like Jesus he's again had an opportunity (Aguero out) to cement himself and is not cutting it to level needed to truly benefit this team.
Jesus works incredibly hard for the team which is what Pep loves. Its not about having a good individual goals tally but what he can do for the team.

At a certain point, predicting a 5+ goal win stops being arrogance and starts just being a legitimate prediction of the scoreline when the best attack in the country by 20+ goals faces an already relegated team with the worst defence in the league.

Does it mean we will definitely rack them up? No, look at the reverse fixture, we could lose! But with De Bruyne desperate for the assist record, Sterling desperate to score as many goals as possible, plenty of players trying to earn a place vs. Madrid...it's entirely possible we win by a massive margin.

Still arrogance though even though it could happen - but constantly predicting it (I have counted 2x6 3x7 1x8 and 3x10 in the first 75 posts) is the same sort of arrogance that we hated United for and the same sort of arrogance that Liverpool have got almost immediately with one title win (tbh they didn't even wait to win anything before their arrogance started)
Remember for the 10 examples of 6 or more (which I expect is stupidly impressive) you showed over the past 3+ years there is the following 11 defeats this year alone to remember : -
Norwich 3 City 2
City 0 Wolves 2
Liverpool 3 City 1
City 1 Utd 2
Wolves 3 City 2
City 0 Utd 1
Spurs 2 City 0
Utd 2 City 0
Chelsea 2 City 1
Southampton 1 City 0
Arsenal 2 City 0

Jesus works his socks off for the team by trying to win the ball back, is fantastic at making space for himself and his teammates
Also Jesus can improve in front of goal IMO remember how bad Sterling was.

That’s as may be but predicting 7, 8 or even 10 in public is to treat the opposition with derision.

Pep Guardiola has given the #ManCity players a short break before the concluding weekend of Premier League action, with the squad having Wednesday and Thursday off from training. [
