There's a lot of anxious people on this thread! We are still a bit undercooked but have the best squad and best team managed by the best manager in the league, we are at home with a full house for the first time in 18 months, playing a newly promoted team. Today should and will be very, very comfortable.

must win, all our rivals will easily put 3-4 past this Norwich at home we should be no different.

dont know why but my feeling is that we are just unable to score or hit the ball cleanly and on target anymore. surely its not true but thats how it looks, when Mahrez, Sterling Jesus presented with a shot opportunity, chances are they fluff it instead of making it count or making the keeper work at least.
we have not really tested Chelsea keeper in CL final or Schmeichel in Community Shield or even Lloris last week also in these 3 games we scored no goals.
We need a top class finisher but other have to improve their shooting ability somehow too many chances get wasted, way too many...

I have got a spare ticket on my phone app? How do I transfer it to someone?
Might be a bit late for this but I'm thinking.

Set up Mrs (other household members will do) with a City account, add as a Friend to my account.

Use old phone (most on a mobile contract will have loads of compatible phones lieing around the house)

Use the old phone as a place to transfer tickets to when needed to and you can loan the phone anyone you trust.

All you need is a supporter number, email address and a mobile wallet or whatever, all of those things are available for free.

Anyone see any flaws in this?

I fear goals are going to be a big problem this season especially until Phil gets back in the aide

Just hit me I’m actually going to watch city play yyeeeaaahhh & I get to eat my cup. Life is good

still leaving the game with 8 mins to go ;-)

I am sure they would let you bring sandwiches in and a flask.

You think that because you’re a decent bloke and you’re judging them by your own fair standards.

You won’t have noticed, but the fact is that the small print in the season card Ts&Cs was changed some time ago to say that you can’t take any food or drink into the stadium and supporter services enforced that rule on me in a very personal manner.

I argued against it. I’d never had a problem with the stewards, they checked my sandwiches and flask every time they checked my bag at the gate.
I sat on the end of a row and, at every home game year in year out, I had chatted with the stewards while pouring / drinking my coffee. I had no reason to think that what I was doing was wrong and that’s what I told supporter services.
Their response was to tell me that the knew which gate I used, and where my seat was, and that they’d ensure that the stewards absolutely enforced the rule in future.

I challenged them because everywhere in the stadium you see people with flasks, sandwiches, cakes, boiled sweets etc. People take mince pies and hand them out at Xmas and New Year FFS, it was ridiculous.
They were targeting me specifically, bullying a loyal supporter to try to force me to pay money I couldn’t afford for the insult of queuing throughout the halftime break to buy crap food food that I couldn’t eat.

When I looked into it I found that, as the ‘rule’ was hidden in the small print, and as they’d not made any effort to inform supporters of the change in the rule when it was originally newly introduced, the rule was classed as a ‘hidden term’ and as such unenforceable under the laws of England and Wales.

I wasn’t going to attend without my food & drink, and they weren’t going to let me in with them, but they had to conceded to my legal challenge and, as they were effectively banning me for no legal reason, they had to reimburse my season card on that basis.

I was shocked by their attitude and, while I’ll always support my team, I won’t pay a brass farthing into the clubs coffers ever again.

Son arrived from Oxford, curry on and cooking for around 12.00 then off to the game for some half priced drinks followed by the game and a couple of hours in the Waldorf with a mixture of blues and some non-footie friends.

Sod that when we have Walker, Stones, Laporte and Zinchenko available.
Got a lot of big games coming up where they'll all play, think he'll see this game as the chance to rotate for a while. Hope i'm wrong!
