It's payback for Mancini's boxing day comments about ref, plus a touch line ban and no title.

Welcome to the most corrupt FA in world football...

do not let young bob heat you say that

Ref dug himself a hole with the Kompany thing (although I think the tackle was clean) and never got a grip on the game or let it flow, constantly interfering and drawing attention to himself = bad reffing. The Nasri/Bassong spat was 50/50 after the tackle went in. Very poor performance, more to come from him I fear, now that he shown weakness and indecision.

Was a good game, now spoilt by the ref, not uncommon. The sport is generally governed about as badly as possible, forget the possibility of corruption.

No need for him to do it though. Could have been yellow but why react?

Because some twat nearly broke his fucking leg!

You, and the others like you, have clearly never played competitive sport!

I've almost had my foot/ankle broken twice in the last month(playing rugby and football). I didn't react like that. Manned up and got on with it. Shook their hand afterwards.

Nearly broke his leg? I just don't see it. Any tackle can break a leg.
If a City player had made the challenge would you have called him a fucking twat? It was a good solid full blooded challenge.

I don't think it was the tackle that caused nasri to react. He was rolling on the ground for awhile. I suspect bassong said something really offensive to him, which then made him mad enough to suddenly stand up and confront bassong.

Re: WTF! ... Nasri Red!

What annoys me is that the ref didn't deal with the challenge, he booked Bassong either for the clash of heads which right fair enough but what about the challenge and vice versa?

He did two things that were more than worthy of a red but it was Nasri who went off and Bassong got a yellow.

Awful.

That's the worst 45 mins of officiating i've ever seen in my fuckin life.

It was terrible in near enough every decision. Not booking Johnson I think it was for taking out Silva, booking Clichy for his first foul (after letting Johnson off). Giving Norwich a freekick when Kompany clearly wins the ball and just the ball. Booking Bassong and giving Nasri a straight red for going head to head with Bass (either book them both or give them both a talking to, the tackle didnt warrant a card). Oh and the barge on Zabba in the area!

The worst bit though was him getting in the way of Barry as he was about to control the ball just outside their area and knocking him over.. useless prick should notice where the balls going and move out of the fucking way.

We'd have this game done by now if he could string a few actual decisions together.
