EVERY TEAM GETS INJURIES.

That team of eleven players should be beating Norwich irregardless.

Pellegrini made an absolute cock up of his subs (again), took our best player off then went one up front ironically when we actually needed a goal. All season the man has been stubborn with his 4-4-2, yet he chooses Norwich away at 0-0 with 20 minutes left to finally revert to one up front.

Hilariously bad tactics.

Spot on. He sticks to F****** 442 when the game begs for 451, like the Chelsea one. Just illogical.
He went 4-5-1 away against Chelsea and got slagged off for it. I personally thought he was right. When he went 442 against Chelsea I was glad because it sent out a message that we're superior at home. And it couldve worked as well. We did have those Silva chances. Fuck it! it's his first season in charge lets just see what happens

Who cares what message we send, its about the points! Most of us would've been happy with 1-1 away to Chelsea. Most the moaning was about Nasty/Hart.

There will be a few twists and turns in this one. February and two points off the top, a better position that our title winning season I think.

3 key players to come back - Chelsea will have their own wobble at some point.

At least we didn't lose 5-1.

Playing Liverpool, Arsenal and Man U away. We should be winning these easy games.

We will when we get to those easy games ;-)

We were shite today, however nothing to do with MP.

AK and Dzeko were the only subs worth bringing on, lottery as to who you take off, it just didn't work out.

What really pissed me off today, more than anything, was how deep Yaya played - just can't get my head around why, desperate for a goal and he's sat in front of the back 4. Very strange.
Whenever Fernandinho doesn't play (all 4 times we have failed to score) Pellegrini plays Yaya too deep. All city fans seeing Milner in the middle assumed he would play the Fernandinho role yet he was more advanced. Stupidity of the highest order from Manuel

Pellegrini not good enough - until this week its not been badly exposed but he got it very wrong vs Chelsea and today was an absolute master-class in management cock-ups .... Anyone can see Yaya is not a holding midfielder, subs were a joke.

Pellgerini appears to be a one dimensional manager who doesn't have any answers when questions are asked of his team!!!

Can't understand why Dzeko is half asleep all the time as a professional footballer. A regulation tap in awaited him if he'd just had the sense to gamble on the low cross which was travelling almost as slow as him!!
That was the most disappointing moment of the day for me. That's telling considering the poor performance all around.

Couldn't understand why he ambled in slower than a drunken snail!

It's all well and good battering teams and then not being able to grind out results, particularly against teams that have little to offer. We could have done with whackin' NC by just the five at The Etihad and saving a couple for today.

Title winning teams rarely play with such a blunted cutting edge as we did today. MANUre scabbed three points at Carrow Road last season and that's the least we should have done today.

Very disappointing - we had a team out there more than good enough but we look a bit jaded not just physically but mentally. These two results might just take a little pressure out of the cooker and allow us to get back on track - but it has to start Wednesday. Then the cup and then players back (plzzz ffs!)
All to play for - lets hope our blip is shorter than the others coz the rest WILL have them and maybe injuries to boot

It was certainly a poor performance and David Cameron putting money in the poor box would have been more enthusiastic than us in trying to score . Agree it's all to play for but cannot be denied there are more than a few happy to play at seventy percent . And when did we last score from a corner ? We must have the lowest percentage success by a million miles . Kolarov could whip em in but no we have to have silva and navas dinking em up to be cleared easy .

We didn't play very well in the final third, needed a lucky break from one of the million crosses we attempted, didn't get it.

Bit confused about where the cut-backs have disappeared to, why persist trying to put the ball into the same area every single time when it's clearly not working.
