Norwich Vs City Post Match Discussion Thread

What went wrong? Just got in

Next game is a must win now to stop the rot and Chelsea sprinting away

Missing Fernadinho and Aguero, simple as that
But it's not as simple as that. Before today we had failed to score 3 times this season all when Fernandinho has been out. This is because Yaya is played too deep to compensate for him. Clear this tactic has not been working yet we do exactly the same thing again today.

Just plain stupidity to do the same mistake over and over again.

Is Pellegrini so one dimensional that losing Fernandinho means he hasn't got a clue?

We were shite today, however nothing to do with MP.

AK and Dzeko were the only subs worth bringing on, lottery as to who you take off, it just didn't work out.

What really pissed me off today, more than anything, was how deep Yaya played - just can't get my head around why, desperate for a goal and he's sat in front of the back 4. Very strange.

Very strange indeed, no one was stopping him to venture forward only himself.

really struggling what people expect

Some of our perfiormances especially away this season have been poor and yes on a number of games we have rode our luck. Quite simply our away performances are poor they are no where near good enough to win the title

We have blown it the tactics used are poor and i don think will ever win the titke. Chelski and Jose know exactly how to play yes uts hardly pretty on the eye but its effective and winning football. We are in a scrap for fourth Pool look good at home and i will show my arse if we get anything there

Still were scoring goals and being entertained right!!!
Tactics used poor? Give me a break, our first eleven today were more than capable to get an away win against Norwich. playing any tactics you like. You're excusing the players blaming it on tactics.

This. We've seen essentially the same players turn in a number of performances like this over the past couple of seasons.

And I don't buy the 'wasting Yaya' line. I don't for a minute believe that Pellegrini expressly forbade him from getting forward and joining in - he might have asked him to be more circumspect than when he plays with Fern, but won't have instructed him to spend the whole game as deep as he did. Unfortunately, Yaya - together with several others - simply coasted through the match.

Hate to say hate the man but Mourinho is right, we are underachieving!! Our manager completely mullered it this last week with very bad deicsion to point of completely baffling me today with the subs he made

Just hope its not a start of a bad run. That could cost us the FA Cup, CL and the league too in space of 3-4 weeks.

Not scoring two times in a row is bad. And we were closer to score vs Chelsea than today even if we needed a big reaction after losing a 6 pointer.

Sunderland tactics wont be much different from Norwich's today. And they lost at home to Hull. If they get a result at the Etihad that will be such a low for us...
