We used to slaughter the rags at Edgerton Park.
Denton was,is and always will be CITY!!
Back in school at Audenshaw High in the 90's, most supported United but the majority of match goers were blues. I think City rule the roost in Denton by around at least 60:40. Ever since I've gone watching City, most blues from our local boozer have been regulars at the match, compared to the arm chair supporting reds. My mate has always been jealous of us, as he has no one to go with watching United apart from the odd lad here and there. We have always had a strong contingent of about 10 of us who go the games.
Anyway I agree with the OP . After the Stoke and Arsenal defeats, I have been able to take defeat on the chin and know we can bounce back. Even if we don't win the league, I'll be content with a Champions League qualification and maybe a FA Cup win and further progress in the Champions League. I can only see us as a club getting stronger and stronger. The only game what really cheesed me off was the CSKA game away, strolling 2-0 and just threw it away.
I have always took defeat bad and it would certainly ruin my weekend but having kids and having more things to worry about has changed my perspective on things.
