Could be worth doing 0-0 at just over 3/1

Oh and the correct phrase is 6/4 ON when its 4/6.............:)

Cookie, a lot of my miss spent youth was wasted away on the (horse, dog, harness racing) race tracks of Melbourne in the late 70's and early 80's
and the Aussies know or a thing or 3 about gambling... if anything was odds on it was: 1/2 or 8/11 etc always.
Old habits die hard! ;-)

You are correct TGR abt the odds you can say 1/2,8/13 etc etc
Its the phrase 4/6 ON i was referring to,just dont add the ON afterwards..just plain old 4/6 :).....or 6/4 ON

Anyway the draw looks like buying money..

Yeah but the Aussies can't even get a cricket score the right way round. 7/123 etc.

You are correct sir, I was always taught that 'For' is a shortened version of 'For the loss of'

eg: We've scored 123 for the loss of 7 wickets and bowling figures of he took 3 wickets for the loss of 40 runs

Chile and Ecuador are playing a WC qualifier in Santiago tomorrow night. If the game ends in a draw, both qualify for the finals next summer. Hmm.

Tough one to call that..should be an end to end game,,funny if went to pens!!
Why would it go to pens? Or have I been Clarkied?

I can somehow see it ending up a draw Jim !

(even though Chile swear they'll be playing to win)
